Dauntless Hook & Ladder Company’s sesquicentennial year came and went in the blink of an eye. 2024 marked 150 years since the incorporation of DH&L, and it was a year of historical significance with the purchase of the new tower truck. In the short time it has been in service, it has already responded to many fires, in which it could be credited with preserving life and property, unlike any piece of apparatus that has gone through our doors.
Aside from the exciting addition to our firefighting arsenal, last year was also a busy year for emergency response with over one emergency call per day and a total of 1,082 volunteer manhours in emergency response.
