About Us
Overview
Incorporated in 1874, the Dauntless Hook & Ladder Fire Company (DH&L) has a rich history of service to Selinsgrove Borough, Penn Township, and the surrounding areas. With the distinction of being one of the few truck companies in the Central Susquehanna Valley, DH&L is located in Station 80 on Snyder County's east end in the Borough of Selinsgrove, with mutual aid provided to Union and Northumberland Counties. DH&L is a 100% volunteer 501(c)(4) non-profit organization with over 20 active firefighters dedicated to serving the community in which they live and work. Our apparatus complement includes Truck 80, Rescue 80, Tanker 80, Utility 80, Traffic 80, and Boat 80; and, our primary functions include Firefighting, Vehicle Rescue, and Water Rescue/Recovery.
